Mary Michler and her business partner and husband Five Star Austrian Pastry Chef Gerhard Michler, recently partnered with BAYCAT interns and staff on an educational project to create a video commercial for Mary and Gerhard’s San Francisco Cafe Jolt ‘n Bolt.
The dough started rising on this project when Mary and Gerhard were approached by Jolt ‘n Bolt Café customer and BAYCAT Founder and President, Villy Wang, who requested their collaboration on a project with BAYCAT staff and interns. Production and filming of the commercials took place during the month of April 2013 and teams of interns created their own commercials to promote Jolt ‘n Bolt Café. BAYCAT is a non-profit community media producer that educates, empowers and employs underserved youth and adults in the digital media arts, and Mary and Gerhard Michler were thrilled and proud to have partnered with the entire BAYCAT team on this project.
