Placing an Order
Placing an order with us online is an easy process:
Please make sure all your information is correct when placing your order with us, including your address and phone number. We cannot be responsible for inaccurate information.
Order & Shipping Confirmation Notices
Once your order has been entered into our system, we will send you a confirmation of your order to the email address you provided to us. We will also include information on your confirmation with the estimated shipping and arrival dates and tracking information.
When your order leaves our bakery, we will also email a shipping confirmation notice to you with a UPS tracking number. You can visit the UPS website at http://www.ups.com and trace your shipment as it moves through the UPS system to its final destination — your home!
To guarantee freshness, we offer three types of shipping options with UPS. For most of Northern California, we are able to ship desserts via UPS Next Day Ground, which is the most cost-effective option. For destinations which cannot be serviced by UPS Next Day Ground, desserts will be sent either Next Day Air Saver or 2 Day Air Service, depending on the perishable nature of the desserts. For reference all cakes must be sent via Next Day Ground or Next Day Air. We add enough coolant to keep your desserts cool during shipping and if you need to have your desserts shipped to arrive next day in the morning, please contact our customer service desk when placing your order.
Shipping CostsShipping costs are determined by shipping location, zip code and type of shipping selected. Available shipping options are specified in each product listing. If you live in Northern California, we recommend selecting Next Day Ground first to see if can take advantage of the extra low shipping rates.
Orders are shipped Monday through Thursday and within one to two business days of receiving your order. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are normally shipped on the next business day. Shipments will be scheduled around holidays.
We cannot ship Friday for a Saturday delivery when you place your order through this website.
Orders received during the holiday season may take longer to process and we encourage ordering in advance to eliminate possible disappointment during holidays!
Our products can only be shipped to street addresses in the lower 48 States USA. Since UPS does not guarantee Next Day Air to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or APO addresses, we are not able to ship to these areas. Also, UPS will not ship to P.O. Boxes.
We recommend the addressee be available to accept delivery. We cannot be responsible for deliveries left unattended at the front door or for packages lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery.
We also cannot be responsible for packages that have been returned to us as undeliverable. The customer will still be charged for the original order and will be charged for a reship.
We cannot guarantee orders received based on incorrect shipping information or delays due to weather conditions or other reasons that are out of our control.
We hand pack everything with care and use excellent packaging materials to protect your item during transit. Please DO NOT accept any packages if the outside packaging has been damaged by UPS during transit. Simply refuse the damaged package and instruct the UPS courier to send it back to us. Be sure to immediately contact us and let us know about the situation. Refunds on shipping charges due to damaged, delayed, or lost merchandise will be reviewed on an individual basis.
