Gerhard Michler Cakes and Desserts Help the San Francisco Olympic Club Celebrate Their 150th Anniversary!

Happy 150th anniversary to the San Francisco Olympic Club! In honor of this tremendous milestone, the Olympic club recently hosted an anniversary celebration for their members and guests. Needless to say, our executive pastry chef Gerhard Michler and his team were kept busy with preparing fabulous anniversary cakes and desserts for this event.

The Olympic Club was originally established on May 6, 1860 and is dedicated to the pursuit of amateur athletic excellence. It bears the honor of being the oldest athletic club in the USA and has historic clubhouses located in downtown San Francisco and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Olympic Club will host the 2012 U.S. Open.
